Specifying the sides of the match will also speed the stitching processing a bit
The target file (jpg, png, bmp) need to be specified through the menu:
File -> Save to File
the two source files can be selected by the two file dialogs that take up most of the gui space (The "Open" buttons left and right at the bottom of the screen)
Good crisp images with a good focus stitches better than poorly focussed images.
The program that requires little or no human intervention (it may run for a while, so we are assuming that there is no need for instantaneous processing). Stitch will typically run for a minute to join two smaller images and 10 minutes for large images (processing time is exponentially dependent on the image sizes). The progress or status of the transform is shown at the bottom of the frame. The stages are:
The Matching stages take the longest.
I welcome suggestions. As it is Java program, it should not have a problem running in Windows or Linux or a Mac (I developed the program under Linux)
